Dave Huebsch is a native of Minnesota, a veteran High School Language Arts Teacher, and a human development worker. He continues to be in demand as a passionate speaker and homilist. He has been featured on numerous radio talk shows, and has delivered the keynote address at National conventions. Dave Huebsch became the founder of Common Hope, www.CommonHope.org an organization which does human development in many Guatemalan villages.

He and his wife Bina are also the founders of Rising Villages, www.RisingVillages.Org which does both human development in Guatemala as well as Spiritual Retreats for North American Volunteer teams who travel there. In 1984 he left a successful business and career in education to apply his skills in Guatemala’s mountain villages which he still considers his most important personal assignment.
